Autos

Lets you add the cars you would like to track.

Add a car

Tap and enter the car information, then tap Done. See Add Auto.

Edit a car

Tap a car then tap Edit. Update the entry, then tap Done.

Delete a car

To delete a car, you can do any of the following

• Swipe left a car then tap Delete.
• Tap Edit, tap then tap Delete.
• Tap a car then tap Edit. Tap Delete Auto then tap Delete Auto again to confirm.

Quickly add a fill-up (iPhone)

Tap to add a fill-up for the car. Or service if fill-ups has been turned off in Settings.

Reorder your cars

Tap Edit. Reorder your cars then tap Done.

Switch between iCloud and device storage.

Tap then tap your selection. The bar at the bottom displays the currently selected storage.

• iCloud: Cars stored here will be synched across your devices.
• iPhone, iPad or iPod touch: Cars stored here are available only on this device.

Backup

Tap then tap Backup. Select the destination for the backup then tap Add.

Restore

Tap then tap Restore. Tap the backup to restore.

Install the Photos add-on

Tap then tap Add-ons. Tap the price in Photos.

Restore the Photos add-on

If you have already purchased the Photos add-on, you can restore it to your other devices. To restore, tap then tap Add-ons. Tap Restore.

Import from Auto Care Free

To import your content from Auto Care Free,

1. Launch Auto Care Free.
2. Tap in Autos.
3. Tap Transfer.

Add Auto

Name

The name of the car.

Odometer

The odometer reading of the car. This field is automatically updated after entering a fill-up or service.

Notes

Comments about the car.

Photos

Photos added to the car. See Photos.

My Auto

Shows summary information about the car.

Configure the car

Tap Settings. See Settings.

See the service history report

Tap then tap PDF or Print.

Settings

Lets you set the preferences for the car.

Fill-ups

If on, shows Fill-ups. You can turn this off if you do not want to add your fill-ups.

City Driving %

If on, shows the City Driving % field in fill-up.

Distance

The unit of measurement for distance.

Fuel

The unit of measurement for fuel capacity.

Fuel Economy

The unit of measurement for fuel efficiency.

Trip Meter

If selected, shows the Trip field in fill-up.

A trip meter is a resettable meter which is used to measure distance travelled for a particular trip or a particular time period.

Odometer

If selected, shows the Odometer field in fill-up.

An odometer measures the total distance travelled throughout the lifetime of the car.

Fill-ups

Adding your fill-up is recommended as it

• Updates the odometer so you can be reminded of maintenance.
• Shows you the fuel efficiency of the car.

Add a fill-up

Tap and enter the fill-up information, then tap Done. See Fill-up.

Edit a fill-up

Tap a fill-up, then tap Edit. Update the entry then tap Done.

Delete a fill-up

To delete a fill-up, you can do any of the following

• Swipe left a fill-up then tap Delete.
• Tap a fill-up, then tap Edit. Tap Delete Fill-up then tap Delete Fill-up again to confirm.

Change the sorting

Tap then set your desired sorting and tap Done.

Export to CSV

Tap then tap Export. Select the destination for the CSV file then tap Add.

Import from CSV

Tap then tap Import. Tap the CSV file to import. You can do an export to get a sample file.

Fill-up

Date

The date of the fill-up.

Trip

The distance travelled from the last fill-up up to this fill-up. Available if you selected Trip Meter in the Settings.

You can tap to change the Start, End or Trip odometer.

Odometer

The odometer reading of the car at the time of fill-up. Available if you selected Odometer in the Settings.

You can tap to change the Start, End or Trip odometer.

Gallons

The number of gallons that was filled in the tank.

Full

Indicates if the tank was filled. If the tank was filled, the fuel economy can be calculated. Otherwise, the app will defer the calculation until a full tank is made.

$/gal

The price of the fuel per gallon.

Total $

The total cost of the fill-up.

City Driving %

The percentage of city driving.

Notes

Comments about the fill-up.

Photos

Photos added to the fill-up. See Photos.

Services

Lets you add the maintenance or repair service performed on the car.

Add a service

Tap and enter the service information, then tap Done. See Service.

Edit a service

Tap a service, then tap Edit. Update the entry then tap Done.

Delete a service

To delete a service, you can do any of the following

• Swipe left a service then tap Delete.
• Tap a service, then tap Edit. Tap Delete Service then tap Delete Service again to confirm.

Change the sorting

Tap then set your desired sorting and tap Done.

List services by task

Tap Task then select a task.

Export to CSV

Tap then tap Export. Select the destination for the CSV file then tap Add.

Import from CSV

Tap then tap Import. Tap the CSV file to import. You can do an export to get a sample file.

Service

Date

The date of the service.

Task

The task that was performed. See Tasks.

Odometer

The odometer reading of the car at the time of service.

Total $

The cost of the service.

Notes

Comments about the service.

Photos

Photos added to the service. See Photos.

Reminders

Lets you add task you wish to be reminded of after a specified number of months or distance.

Add a reminder

Tap and enter the reminder information, then tap Done. See Reminder.

Edit a reminder

Tap a reminder, then tap Edit. Update the entry then tap Done.

Delete a reminder

To delete a reminder, you can do any of the following

• Swipe left a reminder then tap Delete.
• Tap a reminder, then tap Edit. Tap Delete Reminder then tap Delete Reminder again to confirm.

Change the sorting

Tap then set your desired sorting and tap Done.

Export to CSV

Tap then tap Export. Select the destination for the CSV file then tap Add.

Import from CSV

Tap then tap Import. Tap the CSV file to import. You can do an export to get a sample file.

Reminder

Task

The task that needs to be performed. See Tasks.

Months

The months to add to the last service date to get the next service date.

Miles

The miles to add to the last service odometer to get the next service odometer.

Next Service Date

The date that will trigger the reminder.

Next Service Odometer

The odometer reading that will trigger the reminder.

Notes

Comments about the reminder.

Reports

Provides useful statistical and summary information about the car.

Export to CSV

Tap then tap Export. Select the destination for the CSV file then tap Add.

Tasks

Tasks are actions that can be performed on the car like change oil, repair, etc. You can setup a reminder for the task in Reminders.

Add a task

Tap and enter the task description, then tap Done.

Edit a task

Tap then tap Edit. Update the entry then tap Done.

Delete a task

To delete a task, you can do any of the following

• Swipe left a task then tap Delete.
• Tap then tap Edit. Tap Delete Task then tap Delete Task again to confirm.

Export to CSV

Tap then tap Export. Select the destination for the CSV file then tap Add.

Import from CSV

Tap then tap Import. Tap the CSV file to import. You can do an export to get a sample file.

Photos (Optional)

Photos is an optional add-on that enables you to add photos and PDF files to your autos, fill-ups and services.

Take a photo

Tap to open the camera.

Add a photo from the photos library

Tap then tap the photo to add.

Add a photo or PDF from iCloud

Tap then tap the image or PDF file to add.

Delete a photo

Tap Select then tap the photo to delete. Tap then tap Delete Photo to confirm.
